What is Missions Faith Commitment?

As individuals or families, when we participate in Westside missions trips and projects, financial support is an integral part of a successful outreach formula. Each year, Westside impacts thousands of lives through its missions efforts.

As a member or affiliate of the Westside church family, you have the opportunity of participating in the Missions Faith Commitment giving program, which is an exciting and eternally rewarding way of being involved in life-changing global missions work.

The Missions Faith Commitment program is giving to missions in a systematic, sacrificial way, over and above other tithes and offerings you may give throughout the year. Your giving through Westside's Missions Faith Commitment impacts the following missions organizations and ministries, locally and abroad:

• SOUTHERN BAPTIST OFFERINGS - Lottie Moon (International Missions), Annie Armstrong (North American Missions), Maguire (Florida Missions), World Hunger (International and North American Hunger Relief), Florida Baptist Children's Home (Florida).

• MISSION PARTNERSHIP AND PROJECTS - Mission Trips and Westside Strategic Missions Partnerships and Projects.

• LOCAL MISSIONS - Women's Resource Center, Christians Concerned for the Community, Arbor House, House of Hope, Gainesville Community Ministries, Florida Baptist Children's Home Gainesville.

• WESTSIDE MISSIONS MINISTRIES - Children's Missions Savings Bonds, Vocational Ministry Scholarships, MissionFest.

Following is more detailed information on these ministries and the allocation of the $145,000 MFC budget for 2006.
