Benin (WBC Partnership with Jeff and Barbara Singerman) - Auguest '06 - Mission Spotlight
– Benin (Our partnership with Jeff and Barbara Singerman) Westside has had a partnership with Jeff and Barbara Singerman since 2000 and have sent a team every year they have been on the field to minister with them. Jeff will be with us for MissionFest and you will want to spend time with him! You can’t be around he, or Barbara, and not fall in love with Africa. They are ministering among the Ayizo people group which speak the Ayizo (Fon Dialect). These people have an average yearly income of $400. They are plagued with illiteracy, malnutrition, malaria, hepatitis, polio, leprosy, tuberculosis, cholera, and typhoid. The primary language is Voodoo, and yet so many have come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Visit the Mission Resource Room this month to learn more about Benin and the Ayizo people. {mosimage}
